Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Cell Pet Salon In San Jose

Rachel Murphy has expressed deep concern over the traumatic experience his five-pound dog, Toto , went through last weekend. Rachel claimed that the dog was bloodied and distressed after a groomer had taped Toto r’s lips shut.

Rachel explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Toto r's paws were visibly red and injured, with the toenails cut too close to the paw, which likely provoked his biting reaction."

The groomer responsible for these actions was employed by Wow! My Dog, a mobile pet salon.

Rachel took Toto right away to the doctor for emergency treatment. Having joined numerous other accusers of animal abuse, Rachel accused Puppy-Lux. As a result, the San Mateo's office has initiated an investigation into the company for potential animal cruelty.

Rachel explained the injuries that he saw, saying, "I observed wounds around the neck and genital region." The cuts were so deep that they caused blood to flow."

Marianna De las Vegas - a Wow! My Dog client - posted a Yelp comment detailing how his pets had been returned to him unwell or injure. One customer recorded a Snapchat video of a dog that appeared to be in pain. The groomer was said to have forced a napkin inside the dog's animal abuse background ears.
Bad Review

In addition to the damning Yelp reviews, Wow! My Dog wants customers to be aware of what the groomer told him, as someone they had entrusted with their pets' well-being. Rachel shared, "Juliann informed me that taping the mouth shut is a normal and acceptable method, claiming it is preferable to using a muzzle, which he believes can be harmful to dogs. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.

When contacted by Gate News, Wow! My Dog answered the phone but promptly handed it over to a woman who stated they were investigating the allegations. When asked about Puppy, she immediately said that it was an independent entity, before abruptly terminating the call.
